If you have ten minutes, I strongly encourage you to watch this video to help understand this new social life that is being embraced by entrepreneurial learners. How play is such an important part of it all, being able to explore, create and “tinker”. Creating epiphanies for students in a world full of constant change. Lastly, how a one room schoolhouse (ie. the Techmobeel) can be one of the most amazing teaching opportunities for the networking of imaginations. Enjoy!

Moe – had an aha after looking at this.
The van is only the local physical alternative to the classroom you need it because they will not let you in.
The value is in your support network. I see two groups here. Firstly a network of experts – the best math teacher – Tom for Making etc. Drawn from the community. There must be tons of people who know so much more than any teacher in any field and also who can really teach.
Plus a group of great facilitators – people who can host the conversations that draw out more learning – such as helping kids make more sense from Khan Academy.
This human network is the real value – it can scale – it can offer people a chance of making money AND making a difference. Then the local investors invest in the vans and join the network
